cBIMc Members,
The buildingSMART Awards Program 2021 is open and you are invited to nominate Chapter representatives to the 2021 program. Consistent with previous years, we hope to have jury representation from each Chapter of buildingSMART. Multiple jury members from each Chapter is encouraged to cover the high volume of submissions for a single set of votes per Chapter, with a nominated chapter jury lead.
The jury will evaluate projects based on the openBIM criteria and determine a list of Finalists per category. We are excited to announce that this year we will continue with the Award Force platform.
Jury Expectations:
1. Represent the buildingSMART Canada Chapter in a professional, non-biased manner
2. Communicate with Chapter colleagues on the program
3. Attend online meetings with other international jury members
4. Follow the instructions to judge the submissions within the Award Force platform
5. Communicate your Chapter vote by the deadline (July 19th)
The jury duties will occur during the months of June and July with finalist announcements in August.
Current roles for Chapters:
• Chapter Liaison Role (New!): This chapter representative provides support to submitters from their region or language group.
• Chapter Jury Manager Role: This chapter representative is the jury team lead for their chapter.
• Chapter Jury Role: This chapter representative is a jury member of the bSI Awards program.
The jury will be assembled 9th May 2021.
